Crewkerne Lurcher & Terrier Winter Coursing Event

Coursing entries will close as soon as the first race starts approx 9.30am.

Entries for straight racing and terriers etc will continue whilst the coursing is taking place. as there are currently 24 dogs entered, i would imagine that booking in will continue until around 10.30 - 11am

hope that helps.

Also just to let people know, I will probably run the unders striaght before the overs and that is simply to assist the guys running the lure with speeds etc

Good Luck everyone who's taking part hope all dogs come off safe and sound

had a lovely day thanks sarah although could have been warmer lol was pround of my mouse winning the coursing :teehee: and my Rio winning the unders :teehee: and well done to josh and team in the overs :teehee:

Huge thank you to all that came to the race meeting today. I was very anxious about running just a racing meeting, far more confident in the showing side of things.

Apart from the slight delay this morning, i was very pleased with how the day ran. It was good to see the "usual contenders" mixing with the "locals" and even better that the coursing final was held between a usual suspect and a local, very well done Tish you deserved the win, especially as you were going to scratch her two rounds earlier - she did you proud..

Big well done to Josh, very impressive run from both dogs and the hard work shows. I meant every word, Josh!

Tish, you again held your own in the unders' and i am very pleased that all of these dogs wil be going forward to the finals - the South West Area flag will be flying high, i am sure.

I will post the full results tomorrow, with some pictures that were taken, as i am absolutely shattered and treating myself to a crafty guiness or two, but would l

just like to add that my little Trojan, in his first competitive race, ran a respectable 2nd!!!

Cheers for yesterday Sarah - I enjoyed myself and sure the dogs did as well. Wasn't a bad drive down - route planner was only a 1/4 of the total time out hence being the first people there

Nice to see all the different dogs running - Well done Josh, you picked a good slipper for Flash :clown: Also well done to the owner of Mouse ;)

Good luck with your April event Sarah :luck:
