Hi all im steve, new to the site and very new to whippet racing.

the main reason i joined on here was to get some advise from you all about first getting a pedigree whippet puppy to come to our forever loving home and how to go about entering him/her into races when the time is right. as you all can see im from wiltshire and i see that there are quite a few meetings around my general area.

Any help on where is best to look for a puppy would be greatly welcomed along with any other advise thanks alot

Hi Steve, your nearest club would be Andover who race at the Weyhill Fayre pub. If you look on the Pedigree clubs pages Andover have their own website. I am sure you would be made very welcome

Hi Steve

South Cotswolds is also near to you, at Nympsfield near Stroud. We would love to see you and your pup- we have lots of puppies coming on at the moment and at various stages of training. Our youngest are 16 weeks and are enjoying a morning out to watching and meeting everybody. We start our season officially on March 3rd, but have been trialling on Sundays and Wednesday mornings since Christmas when then weather allows. P.M. me if you want any more info.

If you have a look at 'andoverwhippetracing.btck.co.uk', you will see details of our location and fixture list for the year. We will be racing next Sunday if the weather improves. We start racing at about midday. We have race meetings planned for every Sunday from now until April. Come along and take a look.
