The Derbyshire Lurchers and Longdogs will be running the Lurcher & Terrier events at the BASC Gamekeepers Fair at Catton Park, Walton on Trent, Derbyshire

DE12 8LN on Saturday and Sunday 14th & 15th April 2012.

Saturdays events will be Simulated Coursing, Beat the Clock Competitions & Straight racing for lurchers. Entries from 9.30am to start when 1st card is full, this will be followed by Beat the Clock & Straight Racing.Fun runs if time permits.

Sunday's events start with entries from 8.30a.m with Simulated coursing for the Lara Stormchaser Memorial Trophies followed by Beat the Clock & Straight racing. Showing for lurchers & terriers starts at approx. 2pm.

There will also be Obedience competitions on Sunday.

Qualifier for Countrymans Weekly, Pride of the Peaks, Earth Dog Running Dog, Bull x Champs, Cock o the North, East Anglia Champs, Lurcherworld Showing Finals for Lurchers & Terriers & Lurcherworld Racing Finals

Obedience at Catton Park - great! Better get Holly and Ruby training and remind them how to behave and retrieve dummies lol!

Look forward to this show - It has a good field for racing when I was last there & the entrance fee is very appealing :teehee:

We are coming to this one. Got nothing to show but it will be nice to catch up with

friends that we haven't seen for ages.

Just to let everyone know there will be Hurdle racing on the Saturday, anyone coming please use the separate entrance which gives free entrance to the lurcher & terrier area, we will try to put signs out as best we can.

We would just like to say a big thanks to all our helpers over the weekend without you it would not be possible, we would also like to say a big thank you to everyone who came and competed and supported us, it made for a fantastic weekend.

I will post results and pics when I get home next week.
