yesterday afternoon the boys were out in the garden

when they started to bark went out and they had cornered a kitten (w00t)

i shout leave back off which they did picked the kitten checked it was ok which it was

now this kitten been hanging around for the last 3 days it very thin so start knocking on doors trying to find it owner as cant leave it

no owner was found so my neighbour 2 doors down said put it in my shed and i will feed it

so today we are going to ring cats protection to come and get him/her such a lovely kitten we just couldn't leave it what with living on a main road and we all have dogs that hate cats

Hope the kitten has been collected by the Cats Protection League now. Can you update us?

the cats protection didnt want to know (was told to leave it would look after itself)there full up

took the cat to the vets as had a funny walk turns out its a adult cat about 3 years old

was so starved that its got a few problems that the vet as kept it and will do all it can the rspca is paying vet bills

if and when it is well enough will be rehomed

so glad neighbour and i went the extra mile for this cat

so lovely even after what its been through

just a shame none of us could take him on

At least he's in a safe place now with people to take care of him. Perhaps he'd been living rough for quite a while. Hopefully the vet will be able to find him a good home once he's in better health.

Well done for getting him there.

It's nice to hear a good story about the RSPCA for a change...I always seem to be reading bad stories about them. I'm glad the cat is OK.
