No it isnt Roger....at the moment. Praying for some dry weather over the next few days. The 2 day obedience show that was booked on the same ground for the wknd before has been cancelled. So at least the ground wont be churned up.

Tom and Carol off to see ground and make decision next thurs. Will let you know as soon as I do on the decision but til then it is still ON!! :))

Directions to the venue via Carol but she doesnt have a computer!! lol ....from the A19..turn off at A174 to ingleby barwick/redcar/teesport, follow 174 to whitby/redcar/teesport and stay on 174 to redcar/saltburn. At roundabout take A174 to redcar/saltburn. Next roundabout take A174 markse/saltburn. Keep on Marske/saltburn road at next roundabout. Then at next two roundabouts keep on 174 to saltburn/whitby. Then at next large roundabout take A1085 Marske, then at next roundabout follow A1085 to redcar on to coast road and then turn left after 1 mile onto Green lane... tadaaaa Really looking forward to a racing weekend...after all the cancelled ones

Just to confirm that this show is still going ahead  despite rumours that it has been cancelled

In addition there are now qualifiers both days for the bull x finals at Uplands Show, County Durham :))

 Looking forward to it, the grounds drying out nicely and there's plenty of space to test the dogs in both racing and coursing, hope to be there Saturday

The more the merrier, this is their first show and I am hoping that there will be plenty of support as they have put alot of effort into the organising and the trophies are fabulous. If it goes down well then hoping for it to be run annually :) Which would be good coz there isnt much racing done in the north.

Thought I'd replied to this but it would appear not

Sat and Sun quals for cock of the North, EDRD Bull x and working lurcher and Uplands bullx

Sun only NLRC chatsworth show final, and nlrc golden jackets -racing

any separate races for whippets?
No races I'm afraid, tho am sure that you could give it/ them a run between semi's and finals of the lurchers..there is usually a five or so minute gap to give the dogs a rest :)
