As expected not many racing tonight but plenty of trials. One or two new faces turning up each week with pups which is always nice to see, one of which had never seen a lure before but chased like an old hand much to the owner's delight. Gill's youngster Katie is finding time every week, she had a trial in company last week, no worries with her. Colin and Andy had 2 trials, Colin winning both this week. Sky's Lad clocked a fast time winning the scr race as did Sunkist in the A final. The thunderstorms never materialized and with only light rain today we are going to start watering for next week. lt's hard to believe i'm writing this, when only 3 week's ago the track was under water!

A nice leisurely evening, got home in plenty of time to get Mum sorted for her night shift. New kickboard for Rosie this week and trapping a lot better but granny Kerri pushed her hard in their trials. Pushing 11 is the new 7 apparently!

What a lovely evening for racing, we did'nt expect many after the champs but we had a good entry of 16. There were plenty of trials before racing. Barry's 9mth old bitch pup, racing name McKenzies Gold looking good in her 2 solo's and Gill's Katie having another trial in company, no problem's. A few younger pups having handslips all chasing well. Joyce, Connor and Chris came to watch (both Joyces bitches are injured) hope they are soon back on the track. She brought Lotti (Just FriendsxCalamity Kate) first time iv'e seen her what a little cutie. Some belated congratulations are in order over the week-end. On Saturday Lee's Spot Black took sup vet and Joyce & Connor's Calamity Kate r-up. Tam & Shelly's Ride a White Swan r-up in the 19lb class. What a terrific final in the 35lb bitches with Graham's Secret Wish just getting the better of Alan & Rose's Showcase. Well done. Onto Sunday with the big boy's, Alan & Rose's Chunks was r-up and Kath's Who Knows 3rd in the 48lbs Scr final. Dave & Brenda's Comin Thru r-up in the 29lbs class. The 35lbs class was a 1st & 2nd for the club, Bolero winning his title for Dean & Ellis and Andy's Twisted Tip r-up well done everyone. Onto Monday's Puppy & Yearling champs. Congrat's to Elaine & Sally with Just Jen finishing 2nd in the sup puppy scratch and Geoff, Natalie & Andrew's Cute As Hell 3rd in what was a very bumpy final. Richie & Amanda's Hells Echo r-up in the sup bitch pup final. Well done. Onto racing results

ADDITIONAL OPEN TUES EVENING 12th JUNE PRE-ENTRY BY 8pm MON ADVERT ON K9. NO CLUB RACING WEDNESDAY 13th

Sorry must have been having a senior moment, forgot to congratulate our whippet news competition winner's. Andy's lovely pedi Todd won top training dog. Jo & Darren's Hellspell top scratch and Gill's Mon Ami finished 3rd in the top club dog. She is usually a very good trapper but on this occasion totally missed the break, never mind Ami you all did the club proud. Well done. Lynda.

lovely pic's and well done all the winners, you did our club proud,

A great evening's racing with 18 whippets and 8 lurchers on the card. The track is in brilliant condition, really "springy". Nice to see Classic Rock back in action after 5 week's on the side lines. He won the B final convincingly, l think Mick and Gloria went home well pleased with him. Sorry to hear from Chris that his mum is'nt feeling to good, hope you'll be feeling better soon Joyce although the boy's did a good job winning the A final with Charisma. ( l kept my eye on them for you Joyce LOL) 2nd in the final was an exceptionally good run from Kev's Plan B. 3rd Elise's Magical Moany and 4th Dave & Brenda's Comin Thru. Geoff, Natalie & Andrew's Cute as Hell ran really well in the scratch racing, he's only a baby at 12 1/2 months old and i'm sure there will be lots more to come from him. Trials started at 5 o'clock, lots of them. Gordon's pup Honey looked very impressive having a full distance, while Gill's Katie looked on, not being able to trial this week as she hurt her shoulder running about at home. Stevie B had another trial back from a recurring injury and finger's crossed is looking good. l think he will soon be back on the card. Yvonne gave her 2, Cracked the lce & Bound By solo's and was pleased with them both. Thank's to our helper's, Natalie helping sort the trials out,Jenna & Jason doing the lurcher's and Phil finding out there's 6 gear's on the motorbike and not 1 as Les thought LOL All member's send their best wishes and get well soon, to Geoff hope you are back racing soon.

IT WAS NICE TO GET BACK TO THE CLUB AGAIN AFTER RAIN STOPPED PLAY FOR A FEW WEEK'S. THE TRACK WAS NICE AND "SPRINGY", SHOULD BE WITH THE AMOUNT OF WATER IT'S HAD ON IT! IF THE WEATHER STAY'S DRY LES IS HOPEING TO GET A HEAVY ROLLER ON IT BEFORE THE "RUBY MURRAY" OPEN. THANK'S TO EVERYONE FOR HELPING OUT AS WE WERE A BIT SHORT STAFFED TONIGHT. 15 DOG'S RACING ON A LOVELY EVENING 160 YDS/LBS. NO LURCHER'S RACING BUT PLENTY TRIALING.
