Pleasant weather and high spirits for competitors in Worcester’s cobhouse wish/flying imp this Sunday. The racing got off to a good start with the terriers first. Berty was the winner of the little terriers race with Scruffy taking second place. In the big terriers Ruby took the win from Billy with Jess taking third place. The under 23 lurchers saw Araf winning the race with Faolan taking second. Joe was the winner of the over 23 lurchers with Blaze in second place.

On to the main event with the pups up to 20lb this race was a good first race for the home clubs 19lb Whitelighter who ran well but couldn’t match up to gusty little Conner’s Maiden who stormed through take first place. In the up to 24lb pups Smack that took first place and Won Bingoball came first in the Puppy Scratch. The yealings saw victory for Kung Fu Panda and in the Veterans Moccachino, Conners Legacy and Moonwalker all took first in their respective races.

In the Bitches up to 16lb One’s Genevieve went on to meet the 18lb winner Vanilla Sky and the 20lb winner Tall and Tiny in the Light weight bitches final. This race saw One’s Genevieve safely through to the final. Next the 22lb bitch winner Waddle on, 24lb bitch winner One’s Cullysaurus and 26lb bitch winner One’s Dipano all came together for the Middle weight bitch race which saw victory for Waddle on with One’s Dipano in second place. In the Heavy weight bitches final winner of the 30lb bitch race, after beating kennel mate Kung fu panda in a rerun due to lure failure, Paper Dragon took second place to What the Story who had won the 28lb bitches.

This saw Notorious crossing the line for first place and home dog Bionic Boots taking a respectable second. Spidersman secured victory in the 26lb dogs and also brought it home for the Middle weight final. The heavy weight final saw victory for Union Jack who won through from the 28lb dogs, leaving Sun up to take a not so shabby second.

In the Finals Supreme scratch was won by the fantastic home club bitch Stay out who beat Desertwalker , Zenyetta and Love goes down to get to the final. Second was King Louis and third was Citizen Smiff.

The winner of the Bitch final was Waddle on who also went on to take Supreme of the Day, second place went to One’s Genevieve with Whats the story in third.
