I starve mine except for fresh water for 24 hours and then all she get's for the next 24 hours is scrambled egg, that normally resolves any small bugs and if she's ok after that then back onto her normal diet.

This seems to work for me;-

Make sure they don't have worms (check poop!). Then feed anything with veg or wholemeal in it. The greyhounds like brown bread or toast (will eat it with nothing else as a treat) or baked beans sneaked in to their meal. Eggs also good. Try and give them these things regularly and it stops the squits.

If its just a upset stomach i find the probotic drinks helps alot

Canikur Pro if you feel you need that little extra help other than the above. You do not need a prescription. Can be bought online.

thanx for your replys, i starved him for 24 hours then light food but then took a wee trip to the vet and got sum pro kolin so doing the trick, i didnt take the dog as a consultation fee i didnt want lol

That's what I've always done too.

Agree with the water only then light diet - macaroni cheese works well for Breeze. However, if that doesn't work then Prokolin is very good - expensive but it works. Greyhounds seem to have fussy tummies so I find I need to be careful what I feed Breeze - not like out little terrier menace who can stomach just about anything!

I was going to suggest prokolin too, you can buy it online, probably cheaper than the vets. I always keep a tube in the fridge just in case.
