If any reader is familiar with Moorfield rail station, please say how feasible it is to make train connections from this station when traveling by public transport with a dog. I have my doubts because it is underground as far as I know. I suppose there must be lifts for disabled people and people carrying heavy luggage.

There are lifts available in the station and well-behaved dogs are welcome

I found the Mersey Rail staff incredibly helpful, escorting me from lift to lift and making sure I went to the right track.

It's surprising how easy it is to get about by train with a dog... and a child, and luggage!... providing your dog is well trained :D

We made it to the cycling time trials at Hampton court having taken 4 overland trains down there, and it was all pretty straightforward (except the bit on the internet trying to persuade the software to accept the idea of not using the underground!)
