WELL WE HAVE DECIDED TO RETIRE ALFIE DUE TO INJURY. HE'S BEEN A GREAT DOG FOR US AND THE BEST FIRST WHIPPET ANYONE COULD HOPE FOR. NCH CHAMPION AND RUNNER UP ON STRAIGHTS AND R/UP TWICE ON THE BENDS GETTING BEAT SHOTEST OF SHORT HEADS BY MAJOR POINT FOR HIS BEND TITLE. HE GOT TO THE ENGLISH DERBY FINAL AND LAST MONTH WON THE THE VETERAN CONSOLATION DERBY IN SCOTLAND. HE WAS ONLY LIGHTLY RACED AND WE WERE HOPING FOR A GREAT VET CAREER BUT SADLY THIS WILL NOT HAPPEN FOR US, HIS WELFARE WILL ALWAYS COME FIRST.

Sorry to hear that you have had to retire Alfie through injury, it's not the way any of us want our dogs to end their career.

I'm sure he'll continue to be spoilt rotten & we wish him a long and happy retirement.
