looks like the weather is going to be fine for our first shildon open.tea/coffee hot dogs sandwichs etc on track. toilet less than 100yds away at liesure centre. new string on the lure.

looking forward to seeing what some of the top dogs can do.think around 8.19 is the best yet.

our local pups are turning in some very usful times 8.8ish for light weight pups dogs seem to be getting faster and faster.
 
track will be spot on. hope we get a canny turn out. cotton wool off our lad.heard there are a few travelling looking foward to a canny days racing.

a nice sunny, mild and breezy day @ shilden, perfect for the dogs. the sun was blinding me though! nice to see a few travel to support this open. the track was in good condition and there was some fab races @ 2ft per 1lb. biggest class on the card was the 38lb scratch with 6 dogs in it making 2 heats. i counted 50 on the prog but i think 3 of them ran twice so 47 dogs not too bad a turn out. ok enuf babbling onto racing with times if i have them. results:

our first shildon open went very well,thanks to all that attended.

good to see minzee mu back in the grove taking supreme.

the menace ran brilliant to take supreme scr.

hellseeker had a solo in his heat to do the fastest time up our track 8.15 pity he missed the lids in the supreme

so glam taking the pups with litter mate northern style chasing down in a good puppy race (prada litter looking very promising.

alans big pup zztop looking very well defo a left hand runner.

branco came out like her arse was on fire to take the vets won it out of the lids.

jims libarator had a class win and ran well in the supreme.

debbies queens 11 ran a cracker to take the 27lb dogs after a rerun.

steves tiger kitten had a good race with izzy and ran well in the final.

ballypride ran very well taking his class lovely little dog.

geffs sunprince if only a solo did 8.33 hell of a time for a 6 year old dog.

beaubelle ran a stormer to take the 31 bitches in a classy heat.

beths blitz very very impresive winning in 8.19

cobain getting back to winning ways and looking very well nice one porky getting him fighting fit.

our bentley ran well in his heat but not quiet good enough to take nine in the run off 38 who was impressive think he would of been close to taking supreme scr.well done peter.

jims riley had a solo but ran well in the final pity he is such a leftie.

shildon folks all pulled togather to make an enjoyable day out.lassies on the food worked very very hard as did all the crew.stuie did fantastic to cut and clean up the grass that should of been cut.

nice trophys with added prize money.

hope everyone enjoyed the day and great to see some middlends folks making the open.
 
what a great days racing everthing went without any problems only the one re-run ,the track was in tip top condition it was good to see a few who travelled . well done all the winners some very close races . :thumbsup:

good to see mimzee moo back on form,bally pride winning the dog final, karen's hellseeker doing a very fast 8-15 fastest time done on this track ,roberts menace running very well to take supreme scr, john&jeans branca taking the vets ,alisons missy moo belle taking the yearlings,

last but not least colin's so glam ( prada x north to south ) winning the pups in style :thumbsup:
