  A good entry of 35 dogs for Askern's first whippet meeting. Some fantastic racing followed by some positive comments about the track. The cafe and bar was open all day, I saw quite a few tucking into breakfast, sorry Debbie think you had to finish your chicken curry in the box, a massive thanks to you for judging and annoucing race results. Thanks also to Paul on the trip, Les & Geoff on the traps, Karen for selling raffle tickets and of course Roly & his staff for having the track spot on for us after greyhound trials had finished. Thank you for donating raffle prizes the money made from the raffle was added to money left over from entries was paid out in prize money which totaled £104.
