after all the bad press concerning dog attacks and bad owners lets start to get happy again, with the summer slowly coming im starting to get happy with what im going to get up too, apart from all the fields im going to do the beach and venture to places i havnt walked, in june im away for a week down south to get pissed with a few m8s so should be fun all the way, so whats summer going to bring you?

aaw lurcherman, you are so right, positive mental attitude! :) I for one have been totally affected by the wintry weather this last year. I'm normally quite positive about it, but this year i have been a right grump.... You are right though, happy thoughts, happy thoughts!

Trying to think of what this summer will bring.. Erm. My sister is coming to visit for the first time since she had kids, i've promised my 5 year old nephew i'll teach him to use my little outboard dinghy, my sister wasn't that pleased but thankfully he does like water and can swim!

I've got a big garden to totally landscape from scratch, my first ever from nothing. It is the garden that my poor old coco (dudes buddy) lives in, and its a building site at the mo, utterly horrible for a dog. Cannot wait to get some turf in there for him.

My brother is getting married at some point too!

I was thinking yesterday that its a good job really that spring seems so late, i'm actually on top of the winter jobs for the first time ever!

is the summer that long lol i do hope you get all them jobs done. the only sad part is both my dogs are nearly 11 so need to keep a eye on them as the days are over when we stay out fors hours but roll.on the summer as like you hanneroon i really need it.

Good things... My sister has just had a baby, although they are stil in hospital with a few probs.

I am reeeeeally looking forward to going on a big family holiday in June to France :)

Going to be a Granny for the first time in about 10 days time so very excited about that ! Got a holiday booked in May to Laverock Holiday cottages in Barnard Castle . Went there last year and all humans and dogs had a lovely time .Got a book with lots of walks listed in the area I live in so going to try and do at least one every couple of weeks throughout the summer . This is the third year we have lived in this house so gradually getting the garden the way we want it . This year should be the best yet . So lots of things to look forward to .

It's very important to stay positive after reading so much negativity in the press recently.

The media should remember they are in a position of great power and with that comes great responsibility. They should act accordingly.

Looking forward to the better half of the weather now with spring finally here lets not be afraid to get out there and enjoy the lovely British summertime.

My parents live in Essex now, and we shall be going down there for a week in June, maybe try to get to Southend for a day with the dog but I guess by then the beaches will be closed for dogs!!

Might do a couple of days in London and around as my gf wants to go the Harry Potter studio thing.

As for the rest of summer, I cannot get get the time off so my time off is the middle of September so I am hoping for a late summer.

I'm happy that the clock change mean I get to walk my boys in daylight after tea now and I dont have to rush around with a torch when I get home from work!! Yay bring on summer!!!! (w00t)

I'm looking forward to some warmer weather. My daughter has been training hard all winter for her surf comps this summer, and I have spent many a freezing hour stood in the shallow waves taking photos and watching to make sure she's ok. I NEED some warm sun :teehee: Already getting lighter evenings, yaay!! :p

with me i just need sum sun lol the dark nights i havnt got a problem with i love takin a torch out.

Dont you think its nicer tho without a torch so the dogs can run further afield and you can actually see them, mine tend to stay on the path when its darker and run like idiots after the bunnies when they can see, Im defo in favour of the lighter nights, sick of getting up in the dark and getting home in the dark, its still light here now!!! yay summer (not quite it is freezing but I can pretend) (w00t)
