Does anyone have one? Would you recommend them? I live in the country and he gets filthy!

Fantastic pic - he looks lovely. What is a dog dryer? Sorry, I'm probably being really dim here, but with a whippet, we wipe down with a damp cloth as necessary

Love the colours of your pup!

Do you mean a proper grooming dryer thats on a stand?

Thank you, yes those dryers on a stand, meant to be really good :) but they are expensive, I think a towel will suffice!

Blooming 'eck. Thank goodness for virtually wipe dry whippets. I only dry my OWN hair about once every couple of months! :)

Yeah they are costly for an every now and then - I think people buy them for dog/cat show preparation mostly....

There are 2 sorts of stand dryer, a conventional dryer and a combination dryer, with the combination dryer you can blast with a high velocity hose first, then finish as a normal dryer, the one I use is from Groomers Online, very reasonably priced, around £250.00 (I think) It will make light work of a collie coat :)

sorry for the edits...I must find my glasses :)
