Hi all

I have bought some front line flea treatment for my 2 yorkies, i have bathed them today, is it ok to put the flea treatment on tonight or do i have to wait a few days before applying?

Reason i ask is a seem to recall a vet saying to wait a few days to let the dogs natural oils come back after bathing them.

Thanks all

Paula

Havent used Frontline for some time now but I`m pretty sure that its more effective if you leave it for at least 24 hours after bathing . Similarly, dont let them get soaking wet 24 hours after treatment, good luck .

We bath our dog and us in the morning then in the evening we de-flee with front line, gives us time to recover from our wash.

We can never get out of the way in time from him shaking dry.

We also use the worming bone shaped biscuit get this of the internet from Medic Animal.com but we phone it through.

If you put garlic powder onto their food it acts as a natural repellant, i dont flea our dogs at all other than when we go on holiday and stay in a self catering cottage, 4 labs and iv'e never had any of them with fleas.
