We were lucky with the weather this Sunday but the ground was very wet. Riding the bike proved a little tricky, but Dave managed to stay in his seat.

Racing was over 3 rounds with the winner in the first round gaining a pound handicap and the last dog losing a pound. The aim to get closer and closer races.

The handicapping did little to rein in Conway Skye's dominance in the light weight races. A combined team of Junior Spikes and Dusty won the middle weights, and after 3 very close runs, Xchange came out on top in the heavy weights.

The usual adjournment to the pub followed, and it was really nice to be joined by Allan and Barbara for the first time in ages. A good time was had by all.

We will be club racing next week for the Red Wind trophy, and our AGM will be held on the 24th of November. I need to clarify the time the room is booked for before we decide if we can race before hand.

I was lovely to see you all and have a chat in the pub.

We will be racing again this Sunday. Anyone wanting to race should book in in order to be added to the race programme.
