Hello, my nearly 2 year old Rottweiler that i have had since a puppy is 'untrainable' and fights with my other female dog. We cannot have her upstairs because she messes and she also messes in the kitchen overnight even though she was properly toilet trained as a puppy. She pays absolutely no attention when i tell her what to do, she just completely ignores me. She knows what to do but she just chooses not to do it. She also fights with me other female dog who has been spayed but I have no idea why. Usually my other dog who is older puts her in her place but on a few occasions she has been slightly wounded with tooth marks when they have been fighting. I have been told that if her behaviour doesn't change then she will be rehomed. Has anybody got any tips that would help me train her or if anyone has been in a similar situation?

Thanks

In my view and i dont mean to upset you but if you dont know basics on training then why have a rottie??? With all the press all over dogs at moment why a rottie??? This dog now needs expert training because this is a accident waiting to happen, dogs get bored and thats when it kicks off.

I'm not saying I don't know the basics on training because I have raised a 9 year old male rottie from a pup and he has turned out to be the most docile and well behaved dog I have ever owned but my 2 year old has been was trained well as a pup but her behaviour has just gone down hill very fast the past couple months

Oh right, at this point then the dog needs expert training cus dog with this power can and will be dangerous. Like i say didnt mean to offend.

Hi

Would you like help training her. There is no dog that cat be trained. This dog of yours has just had the wrong upbringing. It does not mean that because you have a 9 yr old rottie that is perfect every other rottie will be the same. NO 2 DOGS ARE THE SAME.

Every dog needs a different type of training, what worked for one of your dogs does will not necessarily work for your second dog. It does not matter what breed it is. It just needs the right training.

Thank you

Have you tried going back to basics with the toilet training ?

What do you do when she goes to toilet indoors ? How do you clean it up ? How do you react ?

Hi sorry I haven't replied to anyone, I have taken some advice and she has got A LOT better behaviour and training wise, thank you everyone :)
