I'm looking at having a German Shepard and stuffy cross. I'm a little apprehensive as I'm not sure if these would be a good family dog, my youngest child is 3. Can anyone ad vise me please

How experienced are you with dogs in general and with strong dogs (both physically and mentally strong) in specific. If you have little or no experience, and a 3yo child I honestly would not recommend either of these breeds (I'm assuming you mean Staffy) on their own or as a mix.

Sorry if this wasn't what you want to hear.

I agree. I had German Shepherds for over 20 years. Wonderful dogs, all. The only reason I chose a different breed this time was that my last one was so special I felt I would be trying to replace her if I got another GSD. (Though nothing on this earth could ever do that.) I have never owned staffies but I have been around them on and off for many years. There are two in my immediate family at present. Nice dogs too. I can't imagine that this was a deliberate cross, but who knows? It seems to be fashionable to do these outlandish crosses these day.

Unless you are experienced with strong-willed dogs, I would give this one a miss.
