To operate or not - senior dog

Hey guys! I want to ask for your advice. I have a senior french poodle, 12 years....she has had a very very healthy life, and excellent I would say, even the vets always praise my family for her healthy lifestyle. Nevertheless, time has taken its toll and some lumps appeared in her mammary glands and they tripled in size in like 2-3 months. Anyhow, I went to two different vets and they narrowed it down to four options:

A) Due to the good health of the dog, you can leave them there.

B) You can do surgery, take off her reproductive system, the mamary glands, take her through quimo. It will be costly and very tireing on the dog, it will deteriorate her a lot due to her age.

C) You can get her through medical exams to see how's her condition.

D) Take out her reproductive system and take her through medical exams.

What would you do?

Sorry I don't understand what is meant by medical exams?

Personally due to the speed the lumps are growing I would have them removed and have her speyed at the same time to remove all the hormones. BUT this is a very personal choice if you are happy with your vet and trust them then you should follow their advice and guidance as to which is the best option for your dog. The fact that she is generally healthy I would go for the surgery, remove the mammary tumours and have her spayed. This is what I would do if she was my dog.

If she were a 12 year old bulldog I would say no, but poodles can have a very long life span, I'd go for removal and spaying, but I can not really give you veterinary advice, I always used to ask my vet "which option would you choose if this were your dog and you loved him beyond belief". You don't always get a nice answer to that but I have always gone with it.
