Our 9 month old bitch Parson Russell (Madge) is in the middle of her first season. We were always going to have her spayed but now we are wondering WHEN ?? How long after the first season or do we wait till after her second season. I think if I ring the vet they will advise soon after 1st season (Cash flow!!). Cheers Chris
 
Half way between 1st and 2nd season is the recommended time due to the blood supply to the uterus. So 12 weeks after 1st season would probably be the best time :flowers:
