I need some feedback regarding my plans for next years east Ayrshire pedigree whippet open I am thinking of running the event on a Wednesday evening before or after one of the other Scottish clubs open this is so that people travelling from a distance can incorporate 2 events over 4 days with only one visit so anyone chasing points won't have the expense of two visits

Also my other plan is to have the Shawfield sprint open on the Friday after the east Ayrshire open on a Sunday which anyone with a passport can attend just some thoughts to try and limit expense all comments are welcome either on the page or as a pm

Personally Tom I would rather it be at the weekend and make the trip up. If its mid week time off work would be an issue for some.

Look forward to it either way.

I would be more likely to add the Scottish Opens to my calendar of events next year if the two were close together, maybe not necessarily a Wednesday - you could do consecutive Sundays (like the two Cornish clubs used to do). You could then offer some trialling on the track on the Wednesday evening. For those of us that are retired we could then make a holiday of it. :)

This is a good idea Tam and I'm sure a lot of the members of the Scottish Thistle think so too.
