I'm sure word has got around by now as I have called a couple of people who already knew but didn't like to intrude - so I'll put it on here officially.

My beloved Lisa died on Sunday night at Moreton, in somewhat distressing circumstances.

She was 18 years, 2 months, so she had had a very long and happy life, and although she had deteriorated a lot - to the extent I was going to make the dreaded vet appointment in the next 2 weeks - it was very upsetting not to be able to say a final goodbye :(

She was quite a character in her own right, but definitely a chip off the old block - the old block being her mum, Hatt Outta Belle. She flatly refused to be cleared for racing as a youngster, but just short of her 6th birthday, she decided to put the nobbling behaviour behind her, and raced as a veteran without ever being naughty again.

We had been through a lot together and she was my devoted friend, I miss her terribly, but have lots of happy memories of her.

Go with love Lisa, you will never be forgotten

Frankie, Billy, Matty and me, your biggest fan

The care and devotion Ian showed in her latter years speaks for itself as she had a remarkable Long Lisa Life.

Rest in Peace Lisa. x

Thanks for your kind words

I couldn't bear to document the more upsetting details, and still can't. I still have my three boys and they have all my love and devotion which will help to fill the huge void left by Lisa's passing.

Thanks, once again.

So sorry to hear of your loss Ian, rest in peace Lisa.

Lots of love from all at Wheal Lovell WRC.
