S oxford 2nd nov cancelled

Due to lack of dogs we have decided to cancel this meeting and hope that members will wish to support us in a fortnights time.

It's a great shame that people are not supporting South Oxford and it will be no good moaning if we have to close down the club. I have raced there for the past 25years and will certainly miss racing at this friendly club.

I don't know what is happening to Whippet Racing today as it used to be such a friendly sport but now there are so many

petty squabbles going on between racers that I feel the sport is in decline. So please stop all this nonsense and get out there

race your dogs and have FUN.

Macaulay. I agree. The squabbling should stop. if the 2 governing bodies could take action against those coursing it, it would stop. Some Social media groups don't help When post are removed for no reason, and people kick off aswell for Nothing This just adds to the problem. These running should keep a open mind if they can't run them responsible way they should Close them. I returned to this sport after a 30 year break and have met some great people and made some great friends. But also seen the bad side of things to. Everybody just pull together for the sake of this sport.
