Our 7 yr old golden retriever is a greedy dog, I know lots of people think their dog is greedy, but they haven't seen Dylan in action. He has always had a lot of upset tums, we have put this down to the stuff he finds in the park when he's off lead, he will eat most things, nastier the better but he is selective about other dogs/fox poo, he only eats that occasionally. He snuffles and rubs his nose on the ground all the time, trying to source little morsels. We have had to resort to keeping him on the lead most of the time, I am wondering if a muzzle might be preferable to being on a lead all the time.

Any thoughts?

Ps he has Burns dry food twice a day and is vaccinated and wormed regularly, rarely has treats.

A muzzle is a good idea, just make sure it's a right size with smaller holes as some dogs are clever enough to push the muzzle down over something yummy squeezing it through the gap.

One of the owners of a pup of mine had to do this as his dog was getting a lot of upset tums. It worked quite well
