Hi I'm after some advice, I have two dogs, well walked and socialised but my problem is one side of my garden has only a hedge, no proper fence, I've put up two layers of link chain 4 foot high on our side of hedge. But one of my dogs keeps climbing over chain link and getting in to next doors garden.

My neighbours have cats ! Also they have a problem with rats in their garden.

So my question is the boundary is their responsibility but I have dogs, how do I resolve the problem ?? Neighbours are not quick at coming forwards. Don't seem to mind the dog but I feel it's just coz they don't won't to deal with putting a fence in. I'd have to cut hedge down to put fence up ??

Any advice please x

It is your responsibility to fence your dogs in, not your neighbours responsinility

Try using some pig wire and bringing it about a foot away from the hedge, that might put the dog off. It won't look aesthetically pleasing but as dog owners we often have to compromise!
