olive was wormed today at 4pm using Bob Martin Clear Wormer Tablets she has been sick every 5 mins but she seems to not being sick for 15 mins...
Can anyone help? very worried as she's a lactating mum of 4 that need to be fed but she doesn't want to feed them! can anyone help? help from anyone!?

I don't think Bob Martin is a great wormer. Vomiting is a common side-effect, but if she's not feeding the pups I'd give the vet a ring. They're bound to have an emergency number and may be able to put your mind at rest.

Okay thanks... I was just worried I will do! ill keep you updated.

Bob Martin isn't particularly good. Did you not say you were given Panacur by your vet?
we were yes but the vet said that we couldn't give her the panacur more than once in a 'session'
and olive has stopped being sick

That is sucha relief! I wouldn't fancy trying to hand rear 4 tiny pups. A friend had to do it with some kittens and was permanently exhausted
I know I did ring my vet and she was very helpful (FOR ONCE) but she said if the worst comes to worst hand feed them! I would be exhausted!:)

I dont understand. If she was only to have the Panacur once in a session, did you not check with your vet if it was ok to give her the Bob Martin on top of it? And if you only just used the Panacur since the start of January why would you want to use something else again so soon - and something different for that matter? I'm sorry if I am being dense but I am not sure what you are doing with your worming and with a lactating bitch I would have thought you would need to be quite careful.

yes the vet said that because olive had the panacur that we shouldn't use that strait after... the vet said any other worming would be fine to use so I decided on the bob martin, I read revews for lactating bitches and all was clear, the puppies : I will be worming them with the beaphar syrup can I give the puppies this or should I stick with the bob martain ?

Harri's breeder used Panacur for him and his siblings. We were told to use it as well as he was due another worming 2 weeks after moving in with us. She even sent me a text reminder to make sure we did.

What does you vet recommend? I think in your shoes I'd be looking for a new vet to be honest. Mine are lovely and helpful and given the amount I pay them they should be!

ok I'm thinking one more further away because only bad ones are near me! I will probably buy another panacur....

Are you in the UK or are you living in Spain? I'm just curious about the vets - obviously you get good ones and bad ones anywhere but there have been a few times you have suggested your vet was unhelpful or unclear. In the UK it's usually easy enough to find another vet, if you are in rural Spain maybe not so much?

no I live in the uk but I also have a home in spain so in summer I will be back over, hopeful I will not find another group of strays but if I do I might have to add another to my pack ;) my vets have not been great since I joined their 'community'
