... & download the 2 free books, "Before..." & "After U Get Ur Pup". // They cover socialization [which is making sure he has many happy experiences of other living beings, not merely introducing him to all & sundry; he should meet any species U that expect Pup to tolerate or ignore or befriend, plus of course nonfamily humans - he should meet at least 25 friendly human strangers per week, all as different as possible from one another, & also differing sharply from the pup's adoptive human family - skin color, diet, language, ht / wt, able / disabled, all ages & genders, every ethnic origin...], teaching a soft mouth, housetraining, getting Pup hooked on chew-toys, habituation - more happy experiences, but with nonliving things, such as sounds, sights, settings, & other stimuli - & more.
