Random things my dog always barks at:
A snowman.
Any moving Christmas decorations.
The back gate first thing in the morning and last thing at night.
Plastic garden chair that got moved by the wind.
Anything new.

I have a red setter cross collie that stays with me sometimes who particularly barks at great danes on the tv,other breeds he doesn't seem to mind! Also a yorkie cross(another of my boarders) who barks at a large pic of a yorkie I have in my front room fire place... My Jake only ever barks at cats or foxes in the garden, normal stuff!

Dennis also barks at snowmen. Someone had made a snowman who Dennis barked at and then when and cocked his leg on him  quickly ran off at this point....

If we knock on something somewhere else in the house he thinks its the door...

For some reason if Oliver or myself pull a certain face he barks at us :D

Birds (mostly seagulls).
Buses.
Falling snow.
Cats. Especially cats.
Anything that's different - so, if there's something in the garden that wasn't there when he last looked, it gets barked at.
Anything that's invading his garden (see above).
Most other dogs.

Woof! :p

.

birds in flight.
ducks on water.
gleams of light on chrome or glass surfaces.
their own reflection in a mirror or window.
A gust of wind clattering tree branches.
Something out of place - such as the rollaway trash-can... every weekly pick-up day.
A chair or other furnishings that were moved - even within the same room.
The short whistle-y snort of a startled or suspicious whitetail deer - or the stamp of their forefoot.
the postie... 6 days a week.
Package deliveries.
moving shadows?... on the ground, floor, or a wall.
Plastic bags being blown along the ground, or flapping in a tree. [glad they're being banned in more places.]

-A snowman
- anyone at the front door
- one day we were out on a walk and there was an old plastic plant pot on the pavement- she didn't like it
Our older dog Baloo isn't so silly!

.

- insectoid sunglasses: oversize lenses, often with highly reflective metallic-coatings.
- anyone in a hat other than a beanie-type or watchman's cap; if there's a brim, BARK!
- in the woods or on walking paths, bark at ppl who wear nylon jackets that squee when they move.
- running children; jogging adults are safe - running kids are dangerous, & an alert must sound.
- barks sounding from the TV, or from outside the house... even blocks away, bark in empathy.

Folly only barks when playing or when she gets excited at racing. People come to the door all she does is stand at the door wagging her tail.

Traffic cones, dog breath freshener, Christmas lights- first he will stare at it then he will lift his bottom and bark, hairdryer, broom and dustpan brush, cordless drill
