@Josie sorry i wasnt on yesterday for long and didn't notice this thread. How scary that must've been for you x i hope you are feeling a lot better today.
You just reacted like anyone else would've to stop them fighting.

Thankyou. Still very sore but nothing that won’t heal! I had to get my Grannie over to wash my hair for me as I can’t use my thumb at the moment. First time with hair straighteners and she did very well!

Oh wow @Josie, what a nightmare :( As others have said, no blame on your part, and well done for getting stuck in and dealing with it. I hope your recovery is speedy, both the physical injuries and anything that could have impacted your mental wellbeing. I can sympathise from when Jimmy got attacked and it's a weird thing - I jumped straight in without a thought as you did, but my injuries were a lot, lot less than you sustained. Good luck in getting better soon :)

Thank you @arealhuman. You jump straight in don’t you, no hesitations! At least my boy wasn’t caught up in it bless him. Must have been even worse for you with it being Jimmy

Is she ok now? Or does she still get nervous if another dog approaches?
She? :D:p No, he's fine, still a bit reactive, but he's always been like that (getting better all the time though).

You said your wife was petrified and that’s who I meant :p..I just wondered if it had knocked her confidence

Oh, sorry! No, she's fine, still happy to take The Jimster out on her own :)

Only just had chance to read this - wow! Glad parties are all okay now, I'm always scared about this happening with mine - I see his hackles go up and grab him as soon as I can.. hope you're fully recovered soon!

Thank you @Pritch Art - healing up now thankfully!

Here is my left arm just in case anyone fancies seeing it :p

.

looking good - nice & clean, no drainage, no puffing, no flushed ring around the wound. :)
The bruise was probly more painful than the puncture - how's the thumb? Can U use it yet?

Zoiks! Glad you're OK. Are you and Dennis over it now?

That could be a good photo for the caption competition:D

I'm glad you're healing up now and you & Dennis have got over the shock.
