From the pics she defo looks a lot yorkie, especially the younger pics of her. She is a beautiful little dog and full of character I bet! I know it's interesting but does it really matter her breed? My 2nd yorkie I took on had a pedigree as long as your arm but looked vaguely alien like with her long body, not much fur and no teeth!( she was 12 when I got her and had been fed on cat food!).. Enjoy, I am sure she will bring you a lot of love and smiles;)
Thanks for replying she goes mad for cat biscuits too lol

@Barnyboy, that's really sad:( And as for the mating take place as a joke:mad: As a small framed 5'0", I was worried enough about giving birth with OH being a broad-shouldered 6'2"

Of course it doesn't matter what mix a dog is, but personally I'd want to know, out of curiosity. And sometimes it can help understand a dog's personality and their needs. A saluki x lurcher is likely to have very different requirements to a collie x lurcher, for example.
That's why we want to know what breed she is to understand her behaviours more

Wow I have a friend who has a rescue dog called Maude and she is very much like your little cutie but her ears are very long although stand not floppy. she is definitely a Yorkie cross but could be so many others....what ever your dog is doesn't matter she is gorgeous.
Her dad looks a lot like Maude too we think he was a rescue too

Omg that really does look like her her ears look just like that when she lie down too they're massive lol do you know what breed the dog rescue thought she was[/QUthere They weren't sure, obviously Yorkie but she has traits of so many other dogs it's hard to tell. I thought she may be part Westie or Patterdale or some other sort of Terrier. My friend really doesn't care she loves Maude to bits and it shows For some reason her tail had been docked, way too short so she only has a tiny stump. She is a bit of a celebrity up in Hampstead as her new mummy is a well know model and fashion icon of the 80's so we often see dear Maude in Photo shoots bless her. She may have had a hard life before but she is certainly making up for it now.

QUOTE, Barnyboy:

Hi, Terry,
I wish more people would take note of what you have said, regarding mating larger male breeds to small ones like little Yorkies.
Believe it or not, my brother had a strange looking dog years ago, a cross between a F Patterdale & Male Doberman. The original owner / so-called breeder, was known to my brother, who told who him that the mating took place as a joke.
The poor mum died while trying to give birth to 3 pups, two of which didn't survive... let's just say that the man in question had a very rough time, when my brother found out.

oh, dear God - some ppl really haven't a working brain-cell, when it comes to common sense.
:( Poor, poor dog. :head-shake: That's so distressing to hear, & so very cruel.
