Val and Max

Hi and welcome, double bubble on the 'I love anything vaguely edible' breeds!

He there, do tell is Max the best of both breeds or the worst I can imagine an ever hungry lab with the nose on legs that is a beagle raiding your pantry 24/7... Or the devotion of a lab with the gentleness of a beagle being your shadow..

That is a pictre of him when he wa a puppy, he is 13 years old now and his birth day is on St. Valentines day.
Still trying to find my way round the site, as the print is so small, but you are right what you said. He was a nightmare as a puppy, but now he is sch a good boy, when he is not diving down my pockets for tissues! or when we are eating. and he is whining for our food when he has eaten his own. What breed is your dog?? Looks a great dog, but I have bad eyesight so can't and can't quite make what breed he is. I can see he is enjoying himself sin the water.

@Val and Max Hope this helps.. Murphy is a Stabijhoun, a Dutch dog bred to hunt. He is two and yes he loves the water. I used to have a beagle and he was great at stealing the shopping before I could even get it out of the bag !

Stabij's are not high maintenace dogs really a brush once a week is enough to keep their coat in order. The main thing is to keep them well exercised and happy because they are an active breed. We walk about 5km every morning in different places and then about 1 or 2km in the afternoon and evening plus swimming and games to keep Murphy happy.
