Hello!

We are getting a 14 week old springer X labradoodle pup very soon!
I have ordered raw food from Bella & Duke to switch her onto from her current puppy biscuits.
I am having a mind blank though. How many times a day will she need to eat? And when does that change?
I've had dogs all my life but not a puppy for around 20 years so I feel like a beginner all over again!
Thanks

At 14 weeks you can feed 3 meals per day.
Puppies change over to a raw diet very quickly without any problems. My last puppy that we bought changed over in 2 days. Poo's changed from bulky and soft to firm very quickly.
A fantastic choice for your puppy.

If you need any help with raw feeding try this fantastic little book, it's easy to read and understand. "Honey's Natural Feeding Handbook for Dogs". If you register with the Honeys website you can get one FREE of charge. And Amazon from 1p (used but like new).
Have fun with your new puppy and please remember that we all love pictures and updates on this site.

Thank you! That's good to know it should be easy. She's used to chewing raw beef bones already so should hopefully take to it just fine. We raw fed the dogs I grew up with and it seems a lot easier now with freezeable portioned meals!

Where about in the country are you. I have just discovered that "Bulmers" raw feeds are now making "complete" mixes. Their meat products are lovely and fresh, although frozen. There is a good supplier who is in Kent who supplies a large area. "Dave's Doggy Dinners" with a good selection of Bulmers products.
