Hi
Hoping someone can assist me with finding out the breed/mix of this dog - the dog in the photo is 5month old.

Owner who was being very shady told me shih tzu / lahso apso but i am struggling to see it, plus searching online can't find anything similar.

i have tried searching quite a few mix/crossbreeds with no luck.

Any help is greatly appreciated
Thanks

Oh goodness she's cute! I love playing 'guess the breed/cross' but I've not coming up with anything so far. I did wonder if there was something beagleish in the middle photo of the second row. Beagle x lhasa brings up some vaguely similar pups but I'm not having a 'bingo!' moment.

I'll be interested to see others' thoughts... I'm meant to be working....:p

I tried Tibetan spaniel mix and came up with....

Depends a bit on its size, but my guess would be Chiuahua X Lasa Apso.

.

At 5-MO, they're still in puppy coat. // I wouldn't be surprised to find that the pup IS indeed a Shih-Tzu x Lhasa, but the dog will be 18-MO b4 s/he has a full coat, & that upholstery makes a huge difference in appearances. ;)

Are U adopting direct from a prior owner? // How is the owner being "shady"?
If U get bad vibes, i'd ditch the adoption, myself. :(

True but I think the head is too wide and the tail is not fluffy so I think it's a cross between a long hair and short haired breed but struggling to locate the combo.

Well long story saw a very similar dog in the park, had a google found the above pup on gumtree, messaged the owner what breed / combo as wanted to check temperament and if it would be a good match for my shih tzu coco (as she is very chilled out) the reply I got was just the word no!

Left it a week the dog was still on so decided to text the owner see if I got better luck They replied

"Hi Narla has now gone to live on a farm with many other doggy friends. Narla was a shitzhu/lahso apso, Thanks"

all I keep thinking is they wouldn't of sold it to puppy farm...right? and if they did why would they announce it.
Just me but the above dog does not look like a farm ready breed. Probably just paranoid lol.

huh! - Strange. // But folk are strange, anyway, & apparently she's no longer available.
God, i HOPE she didn't go to a puppy mill! :( . She's only a month or less from 1st heat.

thanks for the details,

Don't be put out by the word farm,I met a woman at the whippet racing. Chatting away she mentioned she live on a farm, just her and her whippets....all 23 of them. Laughing she said, some women love shoes but I love whippets.

I agree with some Tibetan spaniel, but how many times have the parentage lines already been mixed ?
