My dog had patella luxation surgery on his left leg earlier this year. I had only just got insurance out (about a week earlier) so wasn't covered and I didn't attempt to claim. However the other knee is now showing signs of the same problem.

My question would be is the other knee classed as a pre existing injury and so not covered ?

Depends on your insurance company,
It will be in there somewhere, Best bet is ring and ask.

From what I can see pre existing conditions aren't covered. Do they call it a pre existing condition when nothing has shown in this leg but the other leg gas been operated on ?

Some will some won't
Your vet might be able to give advice too,
Sorry not much help
