Just out of interest, how many of you cover your dogs and tuck them in at bed time? Every dog I have owned have all loved to be covered with a blanket.
When people discover this, they imply that I’m either crackers or too soft.
( usually people who don’t have dogs.)

Well our sproodle guards her bed even if we wanted to cover her with a blanket, it would be dangerous for us as given an opportunity she would bite. So i blow her a kiss and switch off the light till morning! Would love to cover her up but not possible

Always, since he was a baby!
But this never paid off - he doesn't really like sharing the bed with humans.
So, on a cold 2-dog night the best we can hope for is him warming the bed, but when humans get in - he gets out...

I cover Jasper over with a blanket when it gets cold. Like Edie though, he's not a dog you'd get up close and personal with while he's on his bed so it doesn't get tucked in!

How comfy does he look. We once left the baby gate upstairs open, Edie realised when i got up for a wee in the night, she jumped up onto my pillow, all i could see was a dark shape i said edie get down and put my hand down to shoo her down she bite me thats the last time now the gate is closed.

This is Spikes favourite place to sleep, in a bed or on the settee, as long as he’s as close as he can get he’s happy:rolleyes:

The above pic is Tom our jack russell he is the only one that has to be cuddled into something. ..blanket etc he had taken my scarf off of the chair and went to sleep with it wrapped around him

Misty will let me tuck her in and then as soon as I’ve finished she will get out and lay on top of the blanket. She never sleeps under any covers no matter how cold it is

Folly being a typical Whippet sleeps under the duvet, touching me, in my bed.

We've never tried it. Jimbo gets into bed o his own accord, like his alone time when he's there. Might try it tonight!

Murphy doesnt like to be tucked in but we make his bed everyday fluffing up his cushion for him etc. He sleeps on his back with his paws in the air !
