Hi All!
We have recently moved to Scotland from Australia with our three dogs. Two huskies (1.5 yo) and one handsome German Shepherd dog (6 yo).
Looking forward to getting help from the local community regarding local suppliers of raw, doggie day care etc.
We are in Glenlyon for the next two months and I don't know where to start. I want to a couple of butchers and they didn't have neither "dog mince" or offal. I am feeding Taste Of The Wild for now until I can source raw. Any and all help will be greatly appreciated.
Thank you!
XOX

Thanks @Josie :)

Welcome Lucy - your avatar dog is stunning! I can't help with local suppliers, living on the south coast in England, but are you specifically after a raw food supplier local enough to collect? Many will deliver all over the UK. I use Nurturing by Nature: Nurturing By Nature BARF Diet Raw Natural Dog Cat Pet Food They deliver all over England but I'm not sure if they go as far as Scotland - and of course it's more environmentally friendly to find a supplier who is closer to you.

ETA: According to their website:

We deliver to most postcodes in the UK, however geographical location and courier availability can restrict our service. Restricted postcodes are outlined below:

Highlands:

@JudyN you have beaten me again!

Hi Lucy and welcome.
I have just done a quick search around the scottish area and have come up with a few contacts for you.
Dogtime Raw Dog food suppliers; Aberdeen, 01324 610449
Hungry Hounds pet supplies; Falkirk.
Scotts pet supplies; scotspetsupplies.uk West Lothian.
Grampian Pet Services.co.uk

All of the above companies are in Scotland and appear to sell raw pet products.
We have many good suppliers around the country that cover large areas and to Scotland too.
Bulmers.
Landywoods.
Paelo Ridge.
WolfTucker. To name just a few.

There are so many, I like the Bulmers and Landywood products.

Have you thought of looking for any local game keepers or deer stalkers in your area, they may have some offal, if not they may be able to come up with some ideas.

Are you here to stay or will you be going back to Australia?

Good luck with your search.
Happy Christmas.

Welcome @Lucy Scotsman and your pack :)

I expect they are enjoying the cooler weather!

Tagging @excuseme and @JudyN they both raw feed and are pros
Thank you very much!
They are, indeed! Wearing their winter jackets for now, until their undercoat grows back. They just blew their Australian "winter coat" two months back in preparation for +35C summer temperatures, so a little unprepared for sub Zero temps. But you can see a change in them right away with this cooler weather :)

Thanks for tagging the Pros!

Thanks @Josie :)

Thank you so much! This is one of my dogs - Mila. She is a real stunner (I could be a bit biased :p)

Thank you! I have just checked them out and looks like the "bulk buy" option is the way to go. And they do deliver to our address!

Hello and welcome to the forum - and the UK :)

Hello from further south in the UK (Twickenham) but from one Aussie to another - welcome to the UK. I hope you and the dogs are settling in well. Happy new year too.
