The Giant Flemish

Lovely rabbits. You just dont see them very often anymore...
 
I’ve actually found these rabbits to be quite skittish, though that was in a veterinary setting and so they were most likely suffering from stress...

I had a pair of these little darlings, in the early 80s - cute as buttons, bright, sweet, & active. :) I loved ‘em.

I also had at various times, a Dutch dwarf [grey buck], a black Norway dwarf, & a gorgeous red sable “meat rabbit” with a big white bib.

We always had rabbits as kids, I think they're really cute but didn't find them to be great pets. They don't seem to enjoy being petted etc even when tame :(
