I have been a bit quiet this week as I am currently in Lapland. Today we went on a Husky ride and it was amazing! You could see how much the dogs enjoyed it and that the owner really loves them.

Although I have only just got the feeling back in my hands and feet. -27 I have come to appreciate is VERY cold!!

Below is a 13yr old retired girl. She is different to the others as she’s an Alaskan Malmute

-27 wow...that makes our -4 this morning seem almost tropical..

Have a great time it looks fantastic.

It’s so cold my hair has frozen and you get icicles on your eyelashes!

Lovely seeing pics of huskies doing what they love! Don't fancy the chill factor but, enjoy:D

I can't even imagine what -27c would feel like. It's 4c here this morning and my feet feel like blocks of ice!

After the Husky ride I couldn't feel my fingers or toes. I have never felt pain like it. I had to be hustled into a hut to warm up.

Below is a picture of my brother with ice on his eyelashes and one of my mum after she went tobogganing with icicles hanging from her head!
