Proud owners of 2 schichon puppies. Brother and sister. Any advice on flea treatment? Gave nexguard yesterday and they were very lethargic and unwell. Read lots of bad reviews and I'm a bit worried if they'll be ok.

Welcome, I'm new too.
I would be on the safe side and consult your vet .
I use Advocate on my adult dogs.

I have a Bichon chihuahua cross. Around the same size as yours will be. (My sister in law has a shichon). Bichon Schitzu cross. Dudley has Bravecto tablet every three months. Never had a problem with it. He had been flea treated and worked when we got him. Vet suggested going through his coat with nit comb for dead fleas and eggs when he was very young.

With Murphy we use Advantix.

But I agree if you are worried best to consult your vet ..
