Anyone got one of these? Thinking of getting one since Rox needs slow feeding, she has a spiral bowl but wanted something different to give her some variety :)
I've noticed on Amazon that there are some cheap looking ones, what brand do people have? I stupidly thought snuffle mat was just a brand name so wasn't aware there were so many!

I have made a couple - half a honeycomb rubber door mat with about five 6 to 8 -inch strips of fleece threaded through and knotted. Easy and cheap! If you need photos I can do some later.

Yeah my friend said she made hers too, where do you get the fleece from then? Can you buy strips of it or do you just cut up an old blanket or something? Lol
I'd love to see pictures :)

First one was just old fleece sweaters - the second one I bought the fleece from a shop that sells material because I wanted the colour to match my living room.

Oh that’s cool, it sounds easy but I bet I’ll probably just buy a snuffle mat from amazon anyway :D:rolleyes:

We used them at training to help the more timid dogs get over fear of new feelings/sensations we also used puzzel toys made with muffin trays that had various balls in the muffin holes with treats hidden under the ball. Murphy loves his bowl of loo roll tubes, into which I throw a few treats that he has to snuffel around and find.

I've not used one but think its a good idea.
My dogs have mainly wet food so I done think I'll be buying one .:D
A bit messy! Here are the photos of mine @Jack-Russell-Lover - first the bare mat (I would use half of it), then top and bottom views.

Haha yea, when my dog was on wet food I used to freeze it in a Kong :)

Wow, that looks so good! Very full, some I’ve seen look a bit sparse. Love it, have you thought about selling them?
My friend actually said that the next time she makes some she’ll make me one so problem solved :)

They look really good. Ted would just shred it.

I'd be surprised if he could do much damage - fleece is pretty tough and if you start by making the food quite easy to find (not pushed in too deep) he will likely get the hang of it quite quickly.
