We once went to someone's house for supper and there was something like a dip in a small bowl on the table. As we ate more of it, a hamster brand logo revealed. We, of course, can read and it did put us off!

When we got married we had a small ceremony with mainly family coming back to our house after for a buffet lunch (the main reception, for complicated reasons, was the next day). We had put the cats in the cattery ready for our honeymoon, and our friends had gone back to our house early to put all the food out.... much of it in the freshly cleaned cat bowls :D

Actually, there's worse... you know when your children are young and you're often grabbing the nearest receptacle to stick under their heads when they're ill and about to throw up? I once hosted an NCT coffee morning and wanting to impress, I'd made the biscuits myself. As DS1 handed them round, he announced 'Mummy made these in the sick bowl!':oops:

You've trained your dogs to use a spoon, @Mad Murphy ? Awesome!!

Oh Max was special he answered the phone and had whole conversations with people too.... it was our first cordless and he would pick it up and run off with it growling and grunting into the handset much to the confusion of the caller...

MY sister once used my dogs brush to brush her hair. I didnt tell her til after . :D

My daughter once used dog shampoo on her hair and only realised her mistake after asking me what the new shampoo was called because her hair smelt and looked lovely I said I haven’t bought new shampoo. She went upstairs to check and read ‘wet the coat well’ and said ohhhhhhh
