I’m thinking of doing a special birthday present that involves putting their dogs paw prints on so I’m looking for some good quality ink pads that are pet safe.

I’ve been looking on amazon but most seem not very good in the reviews and the good ones are black, I want a choice of colours to make it more interesting, preferably something other than pink because although it’s a female dog, it’s a male owner lol
Any recommendations please?

I have a friend who does a lot of crafts and knows a lot of dog people - I'll ask, just in case she knows someone who does that.

There’s obviously loads of child/baby safe ones on amazon but not many that state specifically that they are pet safe, I’m surprised there aren’t more.

I've just heard back from my friend who has a friend who has done this - she has used children's face paints, and also an inkpad she had when she ran a post office. She said it'll be fine as long as you wipe it off straight after with a wet cloth. And that you need to make sure it's not a permanent one!

(Whether you regard this as sufficiently safe is up to you - but if anyone asks, you can tell them a friend of a friend of a friend provided the advice:D)

Thanks for that I’ve got a non-toxic one, off to try it out this afternoon with his dog while he’s at work :)
