Our Lily has just had 15 teeth out  on Tuesday , she’s doing fine and eating well, pooing normal :) so not worried about her generally...before she had it done she had a neat little bum ( if you know what I mean ;)) but when she came home I noticed that it was protruding a lot more than it used to ( anyone having their dinner? ) :D wonder if the anaesthetic would have affected it? And could it be piles?

Dogs get anal gland problems :(- I'd ask the vet to look at it if it bothers her.

It doesn’t bother her but seems strange that it only happened after she was in the vets! No anal gland smell either which is a relief  might give the vet a ring and find out why it may have happened . :(

I'm guessing you'd have known if she'd been constipated and straining to poo, which could have explained it. I wonder if the drugs could have relaxed everything so it wasn't quite so uptight and out of sight? That's just a conjecture though - if you ring the vet, do let us know what they say.

:D:D Love the uptight and out of sight! :D:D It was so discreet ...a proper lady bottom! Now it’s a proper builders bum  could well have been the drugs Judy , hope it retracts cos it’s not attractive ;) will give it a couple of days as we’re away and see if it goes back to normal :)
