Anyone one watching Wimbledon ?
Some exciting matches today !

I don't mind it being on but I'm not really a fan. But as a BBC license payer, I was a bit cross that it is being shown on both BBC 1 and BBC 2 simultaneously in the afternoons - some choice of what to watch would be nice. And (dons tin helmet) in interviews, I find Andy Murray quite surly and think he comes over like a bored teenager. I sometimes wonder what he would do if he ever managed to dislocate his jaw with one of his triumph roars.

If its not football taking over its tennis.. weeks and weeks of it . Meaning for those who are homebound, sick , or otherwise relying on tv for entertainment and company there is little to watch except said sport. Amazing how the whole world seems to revolve around sport if the bbc is to be believed.

Is it wrong that I always root for the player I fancy the most? I was sorry to see Stefanos Tsitsipas go out today.

Yes, Murray is surly, but of course it's a tennis tournament, not a personality tournament. (Or a totty tournament come to that...)

At Chez Jasper we're also working our way through Glastonbury - listening to the Killers as I type. And then there's Download Festival coming up, and OH has hours of motorbikes coming up. He's not even watched the F1 GP yet - too much else to watch!

I do agree, but I also think he could have the good grace to be more engaging in interviews. It's like he has never been told to mind his manners or "if you can't say something nice, say nothing".

Its unfortunate that Tennis is on the sane time as the womans world cup football. They also have tennis on the red button.
I dont have sky or BT sports and we seem to have less and less different sports on free view . I like to watch Golf , cricket and snooker as well.

Venus Williams was beaten by 15 year old Cori Gauff in two sets . It really was an exciting match .

Not at all :D Im the same with snooker players , Neil Robertson is my favourite !

I dont bother watching the interviews in any sport. boring !

I rarely watch any sport but my favourite, which isn’t shown anymore, was Sumo :D always made me feel so slim ;) but I seriously enjoyed watching it! Used to be on Eurosport late at night, wish they’d bring it back :( now there’s some eye candy for you ladies :D
