The long wellies are out and the summer ones are put away.

The kids have started school.
I eat more chocolate because I need the extra insulation
I'm looking forward to Halloween, Bonfire Night and Christmas. I LOVE the festivities this time of year.

Have to admit Im looking forward to the beaches opening up again ..
We dont have halloween here but we do have St Martin when the children go door to door with lanterns singing for sweets , thats fun..and if I happen to buy more chocolate than is needed ??? well someone has to eat it!

I love crunchy leaves on frosty days, the trees turning red, breath like a dragon with big clouds of steam. I love coming home to hot buttered toast.
