how is Jasper coping without him?

He seems fine - he's not had much to do with Monty as M never took to him or stood up to his playfulness/chasing, and even when he got to be gentler, his idea of 'gentle' would be to plonk a paw on Monty's back, and M was too frail for that. It's only recently I've been able to trust him just to give him a sniff and a wag of the tail.

He's now allowed in the airing cupboard for the first time. He had a really good look and sniff around it, high and low, yesterday, but I thought he might just be trying to sniff out the odd bit of cat kibble. But then he came out and looked under the sink, where the litter tray was, in the bath, and down the loo:D So I think he was probably wondering where Monty had got to.

Oh bless him, obviously realises he’s not there anymore. Wonder if he’ll keep searching?

So sorry to hear Judy, he had such a long and lovely life with you and it sounds like you did everything you could for him.

Sweet dreams little man :emoji_cat: xx
