Our Dogs from Oman urgently need a foster home until Xmas

Dear Dogs lovers community,

We have faced an extremely tough situation:

We left Oman with my husband in December where we still had four rescued dogs of ours taken care by our friends. We were hoping to get our dogs back to the UK once they have all their paperwork done. The plan was to bring them in May.

Unfortunately the landlord of the house where dogs were living kicked them out in February just before the coronavirus outbreak.

Ever since we have to pay for their kennels as there is no way to bring them back into UK. Both me and my husband lost our jobs and paying for their kennels in Oman is simply not feasible anymore. Local charities are flooded with rescue dogs and we cannot keep them there.

In the UK we don't have a house yet but we should be able to have it by Christmas.

So we are looking for the foster home for 2 dogs of ours: Patch and Coco until Christmas. We are planning to bring them in the UK once we sort out their flights (probably by mid-September).

Patch, 2 years old (black and white dog) is a bit nervous dog as he has been through wars, but after having spent 6 months in the kennels with other dogs he completely socialized and can be easily left with other dogs. He loves walking on the lead, very active and cheerful boy. Since he had been attacked by kids many times, I wouldn't recommend him to be in a family with kids.
Coco (red hair dog), 1,5 years old has been the lucky one as we found him when he was 1 month old, all his family has been shot. He doesn't remember aggression, so he is a very loving dog, very active and can be easily left with dogs and would never harm a child. He loves walking on the lead and loves swimming as well.

The two other dogs (Pooch and Frank) will be travelling to the US for their foster houses. Unfortunately we couldn't keep four of them which is also very heartbreaking. The only thought that is keeping us optimistic is that they will be safe there.

We can deliver Coco and Patch anywhere in the UK, although south west would be preferable as we live in Exeter. Obviously we will cover their meals costs and transportation and vet services if needed.

Please, help us to save our rescue dogs and give them a temporary home where they will be safe.

I am sure if anywhere we could find help it would be in the community of dogs lovers in the UK. And we are not abandoning them. We just try to win some time.

Can you give a bit more information about your dogs ...good with children other dogs can they be left. .etc ....
Rescue Remedies near London maybe able to help. ..it maybe worth asking .

We have spent the last several years living in Oman, and during that time have rescued 4 stray dogs in varying levels of distress and health. These dogs are called Pooch, Frank, Patch and Coco. They have become incredibly loving, kind and loyal animals, who are oblivious to the dangers they face due to the general distain towards dogs in the country and the polices policy of shooting them when they have the opportunity.
Pooch, Frank, Patch and Coco each have their own incredible, and typically heart-breaking story. Between them they have, multiple times, been run- over, shot, injured by rocks thrown at them by locals and have miraculously recovered from local diseases that are usually fatal. The story of their hardship goes on and on.
We had to give Pooch and Frank for adoption in the US, and we are hoping to bring Patch and Coco to the UK.
