Hi there, I have a 3-month old Whippet puppy and need to take out an insurance policy - there are so many to choose from! Does anyone have a recommendation of a good one, or one to avoid, or any other tips? Thanks!

I have always used Petplan lifetime insurance for my sighthounds as they can tear their skin so easily. ..they arent cheap ...but they have Always paid no questions and they pay directly to my vet so i have only ever paid the excess ..was £75....
Once they get to over 10 yrs i use PDSA accident and liability insurance. ..

My tip is to go for lifetime cover. If your dog were to develop a long term condition like diabetes for example, policies that are not lifetime would stop covering at the next renewal date.
