Hi!

I am completing a dissertation looking at whether joint supplements are effective for joint conditions and recovery from joint surgery (arthritis, hip dysplasia, CCLR recovery etc.) and wondered if anyone had dogs with any joint issues that could help with my data collection by completing a short survey. I am more than happy to share the results if anyone is interested! Thank you for your help!

Call me paranoid, but I'm not too happy to put my email address in before even seeing the questions, particularly as it's not made clear why it is required. And the Participant Information Sheet says that participants are taken from Facebook Groups, so you've gone a little off piste here...

Apologies - I'm 99.9% sure that you are genuine, but we all need to be aware of the dangers of phishing. Why do you need the email address, and would a fake one work? :D

Hi, I'm not sure why it requested an e-mail address but it seems to have changed the settings on the survey, I have changed them back so that it does not request email addresses anymore, sorry about this!!

Me too - I hadn't expected it to be quite so short!

Have you offered an option for preventative chiropractic treatment? My dogs have had this for many years (until lockdown) and I'm certain it has contributed to their overall joint health.

Thank you! I did originally want to include preventative treatment in my study but had to focus on a specific area or I would have had more data than I could analyse!
 
My dog doesn't have joint issues so I haven't completed the survey. I do use a supplement and a magnetic collar as a preventative (I hope).

I'd be interested to see your findings please.
