Hello - just joined

Hi everyone

My name is Jim. I'm an Aussie expat living in country Germany. I love anything with fur and four legs but right now my wife and I are in the process of adopting a shelter dog. I've grown up with dogs most of my life. My wife hasn't had nearly as much experience.

I'm here because I have a few questions I'd like to ask about a shelter dog we're interested in, but I'm also happy to be part of the community and am looking forward to getting to know people and learn more about you and your dogs.

Thank you! I just finished a thread about her in the Training and Behaviour forum. She's a beautiful little thing, but so so soft and unsure of herself. I'm hoping we're able to make some progress with her. She's still in the shelter - we've been visiting every day they're open.

Slowly slowly. I've been without a dog since 2008. It's nice to think I may have another one in my life soon.
